Restricted Jurisdictions

The service is not available, under any circumstances, to any person who is a citizen or resident of, or located in, the following jurisdictions - because they are subject to comprehensive international sanctions or because crypto-asset services are prohibited there:

• North Korea (DPRK)
• Iran
• Syria
• Cuba
• Russia and Belarus
• Myanmar (Burma)
• Venezuela
• Afghanistan
• The Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, and any other territory subject to comprehensive sanctions
• China (mainland)
• Bangladesh, Nepal, and Egypt

This list is not exhaustive. It reflects sanctions and prohibitions in force at the date above and is superseded by any applicable law.

The service is also not currently available to persons who are citizens or residents of, or located in, the following jurisdictions, because we are not authorised or licensed to operate there:

• The United States of America, including its territories and possessions
• Canada
• The United Kingdom
• The member states of the European Union and the European Economic Area (EEA)
• Switzerland

This is a business restriction, not a statement that the service is unlawful in these places. We may add further jurisdictions to this list, or remove them, as our authorisations change.

Regardless of the lists above, the service is not available to any person or entity that is the subject of sanctions administered by the United Nations, the United States (including the OFAC Specially Designated Nationals list), the European Union, or the United Kingdom, or that is owned or controlled by such a person.

The service is further unavailable in any jurisdiction where offering or using it would be unlawful. Determining whether the service is lawful where you are located is your responsibility.

You may not use a VPN, proxy, false residency information, or any other means to disguise your location or nationality or otherwise circumvent these restrictions. Doing so is a breach of the Terms.

We may, at our discretion and without notice:

• verify your location and identity;
• block access from any jurisdiction;
• refuse, delay, or reverse any deposit, deployment, or withdrawal;
• suspend or close any account we believe is opened or used from a prohibited or restricted jurisdiction, and return the remaining balance to the extent lawfully permitted.
